Sweet Chocolate-Dipped Green Apples

Crisp, tart green apples dipped in smooth chocolate and coated with fun toppings like peanuts or M&M’s. A quick and customizable fall treat that’s perfect for parties, Halloween, or cozy family nights.

Ingredients
  

  • Green apples Granny Smith recommended
  • Lollipop sticks or wooden craft sticks
  • Melting chocolate
  • Chopped peanuts and/or M&M’s

Method
 

  1. Insert lollipop sticks into the core of each apple at the stem.
  2. Place chopped peanuts, M&M’s, or other toppings in small bowls.
  3. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second bursts and stirring in between until smooth.
  4. Dip apples into melted chocolate, twirling to coat evenly.
  5. Roll dipped apples in peanuts or M&M’s, or press toppings directly onto chocolate.
  6. Place apples on wax or parchment paper and let set until firm, or refrigerate to speed up the process.

Notes

  • Granny Smith apples are best for their tart-sweet contrast.
  • Swap toppings for sprinkles, pretzels, or mini chocolate chips.
  • Work quickly, as chocolate sets fast.
  • Best enjoyed the same day, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
