Setting time 50 minutes
Total Time 1 hour
Servings: 12 pretzel rods

Ingredients

  • 12 pretzel rods
  • 1 cup blue candy melts
  • 1 –2 tablespoons white confetti sprinkles

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Spoon or spatula

Method

  1. Prepare your workspace. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the candy melts. Place candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth.
  3. Dip the pretzels. Dip each pretzel rod about ⅓–½ of the way into the melted candy, letting any excess drip off.
  4. Add sprinkles. Place the dipped pretzel on the parchment and sprinkle immediately with confetti sprinkles.
  5. Repeat & set. Continue with remaining pretzels. Let them sit at room temperature for about 1 hour to set, or refrigerate for 15 minutes if you’re short on time.

Notes

  • You can easily change the candy melt color to match your party theme—pink, yellow, green… anything goes.
  • Other topping ideas: crushed nuts, mini chocolate chips, colored sugar, or drizzle with a contrasting color.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
